I put my 5 fish in a 29 gallon "hospital' tank about 48 hours ago. I am gradually bringing the salinity down to 1.009 to deal with ich. I have two small HOB filters on the tank; fortunately both filter pads are "seeded" from the main tank. I also have a 400 gph powerhead in there, as well as 2 small heaters. Fish are looking good. I have a glass top, with the top pretty well sealed to prevent my gobie from carpet surfing. I have a pump and airstone from a previous fresh water tank. Can I use this in my hospital tank to make sure the water stays well oxygenated?

you can use it. it will cause alot of salt creep but other than that it is fine to use.

yeah you should be good, good idea using the power filters that have the biologically seeded pads in them, you shouldnt have any probs with ammonia that way, but keep an eye on ammonia anyways.
