It looks like a sponge to me. What does it feel like?

I had that growing in my 90 gallon, it looks to be some type of sponge.

Hey criminal so you think this is harmless then? ;)
im getting convinced is a sponge 2! it looks and feel really soft and white growing fast i said soft cuz the water flow move it good is not a coral tough. ANy other ideas?
