Oceanic nano skimmer help

Ok....set up the skimmer in my AP 24G back chamber. How high should the water level be??? Anyone have pics of theirs or have a trouble shooting for this??? The instructions were like "The ease of set up......) and after replacing the check valve I finally got bubbles but I'm not sure what comes next. The bubbles are not going into the cup even with the air full on. Any help???? Thanks!!:confused:
