light question...

this is most likely a stupid question but im still new and i think i still have a few dumb questions left to ask...so i bought a light from a friend that he had taken off his brakedown. it was a 110watt pc that he retrofitted to a aquarium light fixture. my question can i use stronger bulbs other then the 55watt 10000k and the 55watt actinic.

nope, the ballast can probably only drive those certain bulbs. you can probably mix the type of bulbs, like getting 50/50s or 14,000k
