Any comments? Efficiency? Noise?
On a 29g reef with low bio-load in my office, hence noise. I only run the Remora at night. No sump so must be HOB for now.
Remora is way loud, and surface skimmer box is a pain, and doesn;t work that well.
Other suggestions?

AquaC Remora all the way.
1) The prizm gets noisy, believe me. If you think that the Remora is a nuisance, then you have not experienced the Prizm.
2) The remora is just a better skimmer, it removes a lot more junk out than the Prizm ever will.
3) The hobby is a pain, but trust me, the Remora is the way to go.

I've had both and the Remora was a little better than the Prism in every aspect. The Remora skimmed a little better, required less adjusting, and was a little less nosy.
The Remora was nosy as heck until I put a towel in the intake chamber. This significantly damped the sound and I don't know why this skimmer wasn't designed with a dampener.

I agree. I've used them both and the Remora is definitely better.
