I have 7 one inch overflow bulkeads on my 125 and I plan on feeding them to a main 4 inch line with flexible 1 inch vinyl hose. Each of these lines will have a 1 inch ball valve. Should I not use flexible line? It is more user friendly in terms of design changes vs using hard pvc.

I would use flex line. It keeps you from using too many 90's and keeps the flow more linear.

How and why (7 - one inch overflows) ?

Sounds like a lot of time and trouble but really isn't that much overflow area unless these are incased in something like a calfo overflow.

I would have like to have had larger holes drilled but the LFS drilled it for me and charged me nothing. It was the biggest they could do without ordering a larger bit.

Free is not always the best price but I'm dealing with the plumbing.

definitely use the flex pvc since the flow rate will not be reduced by elbows
