Im trying to runs some top off water through some kalk and need to use a pump that I can put on a slow drip. Id rather not spend 100$ on a peristaltic pump. can I restrict the flow on a little aqualifter pump?

You would probably be better off running it on a timer than restricting a pump.

I believe Aqualifter pumps produce a slow drip... I know of many people that use them for such purposes as yours.

Instead of restricting the pumps flow, your better off teeing off and using a tap to restrict the tee off. This will give you constant control and not fatigue the pump.
Or you could pump the RO into a holding vat above the Kalk and let the drip feed come from there - gravity fed.

Do you mean tee off and then restrict one of the lines going to the kalk chamber?
