My 12g nanocube has scratches in it. I've recently gone topless and am using a 150W hang-on MH light and under this light the scratches are very apparent. I'd like to replace my glass but can't find a nanocube tank only. I have my tank on a biocube stand so I could also use a 14g biocube.

My only source for the glass is nanotuners.com but because I live in Canada it will cost me the same price to ship it as the replacement glass costs. So, I either spend $140 US to get new glass (including the shipping) or I buy a whole new system for approximately $200, just to replace the tank.

Has anyone had this problem before? Has anyone replaced the glass of their "all-in-one" tank before?
Suggestions and/or advice are appreciated!

try contacting the manufacture and asking how to remove the scratches.
btw: where can you get a nanocube 12 in canada?

I've had it for two years and I bought it used from someone in Calgary. I think that J&L in Burnaby used to sell them and King Ed's on the Kingsway still sells them (I think).
If I were to buy replacement glass I'd get the 14g Biocube.

It's a glass tank, I didn't think that scratches can be removed from glass, only acrylic, or am I wrong?

At least 4 shops in Calgary carry them. You should be able to get one in Vancouver.

you can buy JUST the tanks by themselves from Nanotuners I believe.

He said that...the shipping cost is huge. Might as well just buy a new complete tank. I guess the only upside....you will have some spare parts.
