Fish discoloration and dark spots when lights go off

Every night when the tank lights go off my fish develops dark blemishes and just floats near my LR caves. Is this normal due to it calming down and resting for the night or is it something else?

I am probably one of the few people that has never kept a chromis, so I can't say for sure but.... generally speaking this is fairly normal behavior for fish.

Couldn't agree more with meschaefer , I have two blennies(tail-spot and black-combtooth) that look like totally different fish after lights-out.

My Yellow Tang goes from yellow (obviously) to a grayish color after lights out. Completely normal.
