Hi there - it has been a while since I posted. I have a huge aptasia problem currently (more aps then zoas). I am beyond a preventative cure (ie peppermint shrimps, joes juice). I've read that berghia nudis are great at curing this problem over a few months. I'm ready to pull the trigger on buying a few of these buggers, but as my of my coral collection consists of zoas, I just want to make sure they will be ok.

Do berghias attack zoas? I also have 3 RBTAS, will they be left alone? I have several SPS, I assume they will be left alone? Only other coral is a frogspawn.

Thanks for any advice - I know that nudis are a fearsome creature in this forum and I'm sure someone will have info on berghias mixing with zoas.

thanks!

they wont harm your corals or your anemones.

The few I have had could never deal with my CLS intake screens.....and they are set up so that snails can easily walk across them. The nudis cant. they always got stuck and died

Borrow a copperband .They will do a number on them.

Berghia only eat aiptasia - they do not eat softies, zoas, acros, montis, etc.

They do work slowly and you probably won't see much of them, according to my buddy, but he says they are amazing at leaving a path of clean rock and sandbed where an infestation of aiptasia used to live as they work their way around a tank.

Once you get them in the tank a picture update thread would be great.
