View Full Version : What is going on with my Brain

I have 5 brain corals (Wellsophyllia) and 4 out of the 5 seem to expand normally. One of them however seems to expand to a point where it might explode. It eats well when fed but still expands and becomes round like a ball. At night it returns to its normal shape. Anybody have a clue as to why it might be doing this?

i see that all the time. not sure why they do it but they do. sun light makes they do it also.. maybe making more surface area to absorb more light

What type of lights are you running?

thanks for the help. My tank has two 175w MH on the sides and in the middle is a 250w.
