I'm in the midst of upgrading from a 20h to a 50gallon tank and during the process I decided to go with the oddysea mh fixture. It was so cheap and easy to mod, that I figured it's a no brainer to go with (it was also one of the few 30 inch fixtures I could find out there). So after getting the fixture, I decided I'd try my hand at some sps.
I put them in my 20 gallon tank and moved things around so they could sit up high on the rocks and get all the light they could from my 4 t5's. I woke up the next morning and took a closer look at my new frags and this is what I saw.......

So I spent a few weeks doing research and weighing my options, then decided to start treating with interceptor. I tracked down a scale, worked out the water volume between my tank, filter and fuge, then dosed accordingly. I treated for 6 hours yesterday, did my 25% water change and dropped in some fresh carbon.
I was able to pull out my hermits and one emerald crab before treating, but the other crab and my cleaner and peppermint shrimp proved to be a bit more elusive. Everything made it through the first night, but my two shrimp were looking pretty ragged. They're both sort of flopping around from their stomachs to their backs, but not really moving much other than that.
Is there anything I can do to try and save them, or are they gonners? My fiance was not happy at all with the results. The cleaner was her favorite critter. I tried to explain that the corals will all be healthier after this and that I'd go out and get another cleaner once I'm finished with the treatments, but she keeps making me feel bad by asking if I think the shrimps are suffering.
If they happen to pull through, I've promised her to remove every rock in the tank to catch those two and move them to my nanocube until the next tank is ready.
