I've noticed little swimmers in my tank that can only be described as what look like tiny jellyfish. They are the size of the head of a pin or smaller and swim with a rapid pulsating motion. They are mostly clear and have 8 tiny tiny tentacles. Isn't it true that some coral disperse eggs that hatch to free swimming larvae during the early stage of their life then attach themselves somewhere and become non-motile?. I don't have a macro lens on my camera so no pics but they look like this (only way way smaller):

What do you think I got here??

Sounds like the medusa stage of a hydroid. Very common.

Can be bad if they settle in and colonize. Hydroids can be prolific and pack a potent sting. Most if not all the ones you see floating around probably won't make it to colonization though.
