does anyone know what the size unions and return pipe sizes are.the pictures look like the return is an 1 3/4" but im not 100% sure.if anyone has one and doesnt mind finding out for me i would appreciate it.i cant seem to find any good info on the size piping on any website.if you have good pictures that would be great too.

Hey Jason, I read up on this Reefcentral Article before I bought one. Mine is in the mail and looking forward to getting it soon. The article makes mention of the fittings needed to plumb the beast correctly. Good luck!

yea ive read that thread before but it still doesnt say much about the size of the return drain.i see that the intake is an 1 1/4" but i do not think they would make the return the same size.its looking like an 1 1/2" or maybe even an 1 3/4".hopefully someone on here that has one can take a look and let me know.thanks for the help.

it is a metric pipe that has been filed down on the end to accept 1&1/2" pvc

so the union at the bottom is metric as well.thats odd and probly why i cant get much info on it.hmmm

Are you asking about the input & output of the sequence ORCA pump?

If so, it is the same as a Dart- the input is 2" but the venturi supplied is an oddball piece of PVC. I had to turn mine down a bit to get it to fit in a 2" slip union.

The output is 1-1/2"

yea i know the orca is the same pump.im asking about the input supply to the skimmer and the return drain out of the skimmer.not the pump.thanks for the help though.
