hi i have now received my new ro system it is running at 64 to 68 psi i am getting 600ml of waste and 220 ml of production water i don`t think this is alright.
also my system does not seem to have a flow restrictor assembly it has a blue tap on the top i hope you can give me some advice thanks in advance gary

You are close to the recommended 4 to 1 ratio of waste to product.

The flow restrictor is inside the yellow tubing at the membrane end.

Please follow the directions in the manual. The chart on page 11 will tell you to cut the flow restrictor to about 2.5 inches total based on your product rate of 220 ml/min.

hi there i cut a little bit off the choke inside the yellow pipe i am now getting 200ml a min.
i know i need to cut more off but i don`t want to over do it does it make a difference that my mains water is only 112 on the tds input meter thanks again gary

Is 200 your new product rate? What is the new waste rate?

Your tap water is good enough to have it closer to 3:1 than 4:1.

hi there before i read your last post i cut the choke again i am now getting 780ml waste and 200ml production that will be ok i think, what do you say
