Why don't most folks use reflectors on VHO actinics?

Why don't most folks use reflectors on VHO actinics?

Is it a space constraint or is there some reason reflectors don't help much with these bulbs?

I haven't used VHO's, but I believe it is because most of them come with internal reflectors.

yup one of the best vho's, the URI super actinic R has an internal reflector.

The ones I have used had a coating on the inside of the VHO bulb itself and it redirects the light back down towards the tank.

VHO actinics are the nicest actinics on the market. IMO, they have a better color than actinic T5 or actinic PC bulbs.

Do vho bulbs come in different colors ? Is there a blue bulb and a pink or red bulb?
