I am in the industry and have never heard of it ,probably a chinese knockoff . If you buy less than quality products you will just spend more on the right one later.Thats what I did and I wish someone would have told me!
Best of luck , Lee

I've used them for freshwater. They are overpriced IMO. You are better off getting Giesemann lights online if you can't find them locally. Thats what I use on my salt water, and I've regretted buying GLO for my freshwater.

Its weird, a lot of people never heard of GLO, Hagen makes GLO, but like I said, overpriced for what you are getting.

I have seen them in my local petsmart. For the same money I think I would just order one of the cheaper Current USA fixtures online; at least those come with decent bulbs. Just my opinion.

not to mention with a retrofit kit you can spread the lights apart and get a better light spread on your tank..instead of them being concentrated with the fixture

i have the 24 inch glo and i love it. its nice, the coral loves it. i guess the only thing i don't like is its only 2 bulbs and one switch. corals love it though. it is overpriced

GLO's are severely overpriced. I found that I could get two, two bulb fixtures from Current USA for the price of one two bulb GLO at the LFS. I ended up splurging and getting the Current Sundial because I heard its fans are much quieter than the Nova Extreme's.
