I am breaking down and getting a chiller. I was hoping the fans would keep the water cool but but it is getting to 84 degrees.

Any recomendations on which one to get?

Thanks!!

JBJ 1/20 or 1/15. They have a little kit for them, so you don't have to drill.

I have a AQUA-EURO USA. Hhhhmmmm. Last month It fried out, It was only 1 month old. I did get the company to replace it...BUT I'm I haven't pluged the new one in yet. I not sure if I trust it or not.

Here is something that everyone should look at.

My BioCube is in my office at home. With all my computer, printer & everything on the electric circuit, it seems that I'm overloading the circuit. You dont think about it until there is a power surge & the power pops the breaker.

MY sugestion to everyone is to look at what you have as far as AMPS that you are running on the electric circuit....Then look to see how many amps the circuit is rated for.

If all total amps are 20 to 25 amps. BUT its all running on a 15 amp circuit, And there is a power surge or outage it will trip the breaker & that means all the pumps will stop working.

This is what happend to me 4 weeks ago & I came home to dead fish

I ended up purchasing the PAcific Coast 1/13 HP Mini Chiller and so far so good. Keeps the tank at steady 79 degrees.

Flipper62 - good point. A chiller is alot of power and increases chance of popping a breaker and a mess for sure. Sorry for your loss.
