In the coming weeks we will be launching the Fauna Marin Balling system utilising the GHL ProfiLux range of dosing pumps.
The use of balling salts is now widely respected as the most effective way of dosing a marine system accurately with the required amount of essential minerals (calcium, magnesium, carbonates as well as trace elements)
Used in conjunction with a 3 stage GHL dosing pump system whether this being the new stand alone devise for non ProfiLux users or the intergrated GHL dosing pump assembly, this amalgamation of products makes the use of this advanced system easy for all to use.
We will be launching starter kit packages very soon which will include the GHL dosing stations and Fauna balling salts required.
If you require more info on the balling method please drop into the Fauna marin forum

Here is the stand alone GHL dosing module we will be launching with the Fauna Marin balling method. The unit that comes with the balling salts is the 3 station module that of course can be upgraded by adding a fourth pump if or when required

The station has a built on controller so you do not need to have a ProfiLux to use it (although if you dont have a ProfiLux controller why not )
This Fauna Marin/GHL package deal will be released on the 1st July.
Of course if you already have a GHL dosing station run via your ProfiLux you can utilise its great functionality in the use of the highly successful balling method of essential mineral additives.

Hi
For the dosing set up that hooks to the ProfiLux (if you have aprofiLux or thinking of getting one) the MRSP is $399 with starter kit of balling salts.
For the stand alone doser with built in GHL dosing controller as per the picture the starter kit is $499.
Now think about the cost of an average calcium reactor! No brainer really!

if you buy the dosing pump with the integrated controller now and then later on buy the profilux standard contoller can you hook this unit up to the contoller or will it only function as a stand-alone type of unit?
thanks

Yes, everything is available to the North American market, if it was not we would be out of a job :(
No it is a stand alone only unit.
Maybe time then to jump into the world of ProfiLux and get the ProfiLux controlled doser :)

Is the starter kit only with the 4 pump model as shown in the picture? It would seem from that I could get use a 3 pump model to dose the products for the balling light method. I just wanted to confirm my thoughts.

No it is with a 3 pump model for the exact reason you only need a 3 pump doser, this gives you a spare port for later upgrade if required.
GHL dosers come in 1-2-3 and 4 pump models, but you can turn any model into a maximum of 4 pump as and when required
