Anton is going to make the small external
rishma
06/08/2008, 09:56 PM
GREAT! We cannot wait.
is he going to stop with the small or do the Nano too?
victor90
06/08/2008, 10:03 PM
Only the small no nano
rishma
06/08/2008, 10:05 PM
that seems sensible. The time and effort required would not be worth the small market for a nano external.
The small external (on the other hand) will sell like hot cakes, I think.
GSMguy
06/09/2008, 12:42 PM
small external is going to be high volume just like the external medium airstar.
kalare
06/09/2008, 12:43 PM
Any dimensions and price for the small external?

Agreed. I think the external small is going to bring quite a few new members into the club.

Yep, I have been telling Victor all along that it will be a top seller. that size tank dominates the high end market in terms of #'s. The best selling H&S are A150 and A200, for example.
chadfarmer
06/09/2008, 09:52 PM
i would want a white one, also
victor90
06/09/2008, 11:38 PM
Chad there is one problem though they do not make the tee in white for 32mm so it will be grey

06/10/2008, 12:32 PM
Victor, sounds like your getting a lot of response on these!! Thats great!!
How many do you plan on bringing in? Sounds like they're gonna be really popular :D
I agree 100% with rishma. The A150 and A200 are hot sellers. The ATB small external will also attract many of the same crowd :)

06/10/2008, 09:51 PM
Yeah I in the 150 crowd I have the money saved for the HS 150 internal I'm not sure if I can hold out much longer. It would take a little longer to save up for the ATB small internal darn Euro

Did someone say small external?
GQuinn
06/11/2008, 04:15 PM
This isn't an external small, but it is a internal recirc. This still sits in my sump, but I get the advantage of the recirc. I just did this, so I will post some pictures of it running in a couple of days.http://reefcentral.com/gallery/data/500/86023ATB_recirc_2-med.jpg

Here is a picture of it in sump. Look at those bubbles. It has only been running appx. 20 hours after the recirc and cleaning.

I could do that-- but prefer a recirculated that is not any part of DIY project

for a 120g i think a small external will be more than enough the airstar medium might be overkill.

No, mine could not be run outside the sump as the water return from skimmer is low like the std. small ATB skimmers.

I can't wait for this to become available. I've been waiting for a high end external recirc skimmer to replace my external Octopus. It's been hard finding one with a small footprint, but I'm hoping this fits the bill or more specifically, in the stand. :)

Jim_S
08/21/2008, 06:28 PM
The shipments seem to take 2-3 days to arrive, then spend a day in customs. I think Victor told me they went out Tues or Wed the last time we spoke.
victor90
08/21/2008, 09:04 PM
It is scheduled to land in the us on sat. Then customs will take a few days staring monday.

Yeah, Victor gets A+++++ for an outstanding customer service.
