what do you think about the color and PAR of the geisemann megachrom marine bulb?
will a MetroLight electronic ballast will work on that bulb?

its a 12,500K and comed in 250 and 400 W SE as well in 150 and 250 DE.
i am thinking of replacing my 250 watt ReefLux 10,000K SE bulb which is on a lumenarc 3 reflector with a metro light 250 dimmable electronic ballast.

Well, this is a subjective opinion but . . . I formerly used these on one of my tanks. I have subsequently changed to Radiums and Reeflux (working together) and prefer the coloration and growth. Electronic Pfligoi ballast.

The Marine is too yellow for my taste-- claimed color aside, it looks more yellow than the 10k ushio single endeds I run on part of our smaller tank. I run megachrome Corals on the tank with DE 250s, and it is a nice bluish bulb. The Radium 400W SE is my absolute favorite, though.
