Who has the biggest carpet anemone and how big is it?

Reason I ask is I am planning a tank for the future dedicated to this one carpet and need to know the biggest carpet and how long it took to get that way. If you want to throw in feeding habits, too, that would be ok :D

My Haddoni is about 16" and my new Gigantea is only 4". I feed my anemones every week or two.

I don't keep track very well, but I'm guessing I've had it for about 3 years. It was around 7 inches when I got it. It shot up to about 12" in the first few months. It has leveled off at about 16", but its size is closely related to how much I feed it. If I started feeding it twice every week it would probably be 18" or more in a couple of months. I don't really have a strict feeding schedule.

I haven't seen this anemone in person, so I'm not disputing the ID. Especially coming from you, I'm sure the ID is correct, but doesn't it look alot like Mertensii? Both it's size and the way it is hugging the rock like that?

Both it's size and the way it is hugging the rock like that? Definately a gigantea. It looks different from regular tanked ones we are used to because it is so large and the scale of the pictures throws you off. It has grown quite a bit since some of those were taken.
