View Full Version : Suspended canopy needs lift .

I have a suspended canopy , and I need some ideas on a mechanical lift set up . Pics would be a big help .

Use pulleys and wire with a loop on the end so that you can hook it on a hook to hold the wire and keep the canopy lifted

that is a very simple way to do that. Can you do that on an 8 foot tank?

Do you just attach the lights to the bottom of the platform?

Two of us have them over 8' tanks, the other is a 6'. We cut the arms shorter and added an extension to make the second dimension longer for the 8's.

None of us used the platform. Instead the canopy is suspended from the lift.
