Missing Blenny

Hello,

I brought a Lawnmower Blenny about 3 days ago and it seems to have gone missing tonight. :( I saw him nipping at the glass earlier and we left to go see a movie. 2 hours later, we return home and I do not see him.

I have 2 clowns , 1 Coral Beauty and a Green BTA. My BTA is smaller than the lawnmower. Is it possible that my BTA took a snack? How could I tell?

My rock structure is wide open and I can usually see the lawnmower when it is perched in the rocks.

It's certainly not uncommon for a BTA to snatch a fish. Have you checked everywhere.........overflow, sump, filter ect? Could it be he was a carpet diver or maybe just hiding very well in the live rock?

I've checked the carpet, overflow and sump. Hopefully he is an excellant hider.

They are excellent at hiding when they want too. They can alter their color to blend in with their surroundings.
