well this is my first attempt to keep an anemone and just wanted to share some pics to see what everyone thought. i wanted a blue hondi but was a little scared of it being my first and all so i went with this rbta. it has been in the tank for about a week now, moved about four inches once, and has eaten two sand eels but it just dosnt have the bubble shape most btas.
my display is 225g and i was hoping that if this anemone does well if i could later add a hondi i have heard many people advise against it but was just thinking it might be possible with the size system i have about 300g

anyways enjoy and let me know what you think!!!

Better to start off with a BTA. Once you have experience try the haddoni

titus- well yes but the two 400w halides were also on i was just playing with the light adjustments on my camera

korl that was my thought im not very good at self restraint but i knew better than to just dive off into something that im not so sure about. and at first i was thinking about the money to be honest but this rbta cost a pretty penny

Yah, it looks like one of those old 3d movies. Try looking at those pics with those 3d glasses that have one red and one blue lens! That would be freaky.

looks good. I have a question, were the large maroon's white bars always like that, or do they start with full bars when they're young and grow out?

the Rose looks good, don't worry about it not having bubbly tips, you'll see that many, if not most, don't. for reasons unknown. it doesn't mean it's not healthy

1,001 posts WOW, if my employer only knew ;)

thanks everyone!
the large maroon ive had for quite some time now and shes grown alot! but her stripes have always been the same shape color changed a very little bit to a kind of blue tint believe it or not and boy does she love that nem. not sure why but when i feed it she takes its food from it then puts it back and takes it away again, makes me really mad.

just got a radiant wrasse today and she dose not like him at all
