I'm not planning to start with a Kalk Stirrer but want to keep that option open down the road if it's needed.
Is there anything special I should consider or could I just drop it into my RO reservoir? (planned to be a 65g AGA tank which is 36 x 19 x 22).
Thinking Deltec KM500 or 500S.

If your looking into Deltec taka a look at the octo pro kalk stirers. they look very familiar huh?

I have seen them in person and they are well constructed.

cool! i guess the point is that it could sit in my RO reservoir as long as the top is above the water line so i can refill...

I've got a couple of the AquaMedics.. They work great and are much cheaper..
You want to put your Stirrer in your RO water?

I run a Tunze kalk reactor now, and assumed that a stirrer would work the same way. (Yes, sitting in my RO top-off reservoir.)
I prefer the GEO kalk reactor. Well built and if the pump goes out, it is $20 fix, rather than a $100 fix;) And the pump I get get locally.

Regardless of brand, I just wanted to confirm that it can be placed in the my top off compartment (mostly submerged) without a problem.

The one I posted a link to will no be able to be submerged. PM and Geos can be if desired.
