I am purchasing an ACIII soon and I am really excited to get this bad boy up and running!

On the website, it says "The AquaController III can be optionally connected to PC or Macintosh via an Ethernet cable."

So my question is, what can't I do with my ACIII on a Mac that I could on a PC? Also any insight and advice?

Thank you very much!

The web interface is the same, you can read status, view logs, control timers (manual On, manual Off, Auto) and you can program the AC3.

What you would not have is AquaNotes (http://www.neptunesys.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=35&Itemid=40) which is a PC program that allows you to log, graph and a few more nice things that you cannot do using the web interface.

Thanks for getting back to me Ken. What about setting up emails for status reports or wireless - is that still possible?

Yes, setting up email is done on the AC3 (or AC3 Pro) directly; you don't need a computer to setup or use it.
