They need a round tank or they get stuck in corners. also very, very low flow.

What if he got some acrylic and curved it for the back corner and sealed it like that so its rounded? Get what I mean?

Do a search for Kreisel tanks. That is what you need to keep them happy.

It would also be helpful to know what species you are wanting to keep. Cassiopeia are probably the most common jellies in the hobby, and are about the only ones I can think of that dont require a kreisel tank. They are also the easiest (and most practical) to keep IMO.

They will all end up in the overflow. Get the latest issue of Coral Magazine. It has a feature all about designing and maintaining jellyfish tanks.

I figured that there was a reason why more people don't keep jelly fish - and those tank prices explain it all!

Ive also always wanted one of these, but I think it would get old after a while, probably a reason I do not have a stingray tank.

They are almost impossible to keep alive for a long amount of time as far as my research shows. We just can't supplement the feeding and nutrition that they need.

I wanted to keep moon jelli. they are a wonderful looking species. After reading some info about jellyfish. they said temp range is from 55-65. thats a lot of chilling to do. i dont know if i can afford a big tank for them. Kreisel Tank is very expensive for my budget right now. if i can find a used one. =) atho i know they are really hard to come by i'll keep my eyes open.
