my 20 gallon hex (acrylic) tank came with a pc fixture/lid it houses an 8 w pc bulb, it says its a 12", I cant seem to find any retrofits I could use instead of this, this is going to be a non-photosynthetic tank anyways but I would like to grow some chaeto, do you think if the chaeto was at the top, right under the lights it would be alright? If I could find another stronger light I would like to be able to grow some sea grasses/macro also, any suggestions?
