got a frag with some brown jelly on it the other day. Wish i knew it was on there. any ideas on a cure, or what to do.

Try doing a search on hydrogen peroxide dipping. It will stop the infection from spreading.

You could also try iodine dips. It slows down the brown jelly. You might want to break off the side with the jelly; it spreads really fast.

thanks for the help. unfortunately i have already lost half of my coral in two days. I had no idea it would spread so fast. Iodine dips seem to slow it down, as well as reducing the temp in my QT tank that i had to set up again in a hurry. I thought i didn't need it anymore as I haven't added anything new in months. Well that was an expensive lesson. Over the past two days I have lowered the temp in my display tank a degree a day. Hoping that it will slow down any spread. Also doing small daily Iodine dosing. Heavy skimming, and added carbon, which I hate to do as it really seams to effect my Mag levels.
