Decent tank, needs a little cleaning and some muscle to get it out of my basement. Asking $100.

Not sure, what exactly does reef ready mean? I know the guy before me used it for saltwater, it needs to be cleaned as it has some dried salt inside of it. I never used it.

Reef ready means that the tank has a built-in overflow and/or possibly drilled on the bottom of the tank so as to allow for an easier connection to a secondary tank underneath - commonly referred to as a "sump".

vissichellimg - great idea for you would be to consider stopping by our club meeting next saturday. You can meet a host of other reefers and also see if anyone needs the tank since a lot of the club members do not frequent this site.

The location is 5 minutes southwest of metuchen along route 27/lincoln highway. There's a sticky at the top.

Edit - after writing this - I just wanted to emphasize that our club is NOT about buying and selling - it IS about sharing knowledge and the idea of being able to propagate our reef tanks in an eco-friendly manner. ok- off my soap box.

Thanks for the response. Unfortunatley i will not be able to make it. As for the tank being reef ready, no it is not, no holes in it, just a regular old tank. Let me know if you want to stop by and check it out.
