So last week I cracked the comment "I need another coral like I need a hole in the head."

Little did I know that later that same day I'd slip on the wet kitchen floor while setting up my recently acquired 120g, cracking my head on the counter, ripping apart the top part of my ear and fracturing my skull just behind my ear. The only indication of the fracture as a knot that grew bigger and bigger every day and wouldn't go down.

Out of principle, I bought a fox coral, chili coral and 3 acan frags yesterday.

I think I'm ok. It's only my brain. I don't use it that often anyway.

Seriously speaking, it was the most bizarre incident I've ever had. It was about 2am when it happened, so I couldn't go to sleep for a few hours just in case. I felt ok, aside from the fact that I've had a headache since Saturday!

When I bought my Teva amphibious shoes for hiking, I never thought I'd be wearing them for water changes. Tile floors are slippery when wet.

It was the sympathy from my husband that got me the corals. I might have to do this one more time to get my favias. LOL

ouch--glad you are okay. That's a big danger and so is shock--I've dodged a few bullets when it comes to electrical shock

wow....that's a bummer. But at least you got some new corals out of it.

On a similar note, NEVER EVER post on a thread about how great your tank is doing. It's the ultimate jinx.
