Not knowing how much these would spread I put these polyps in my tank. Now I am becoming overrun with them.
Is there a way to get rid of them?

they are evil...i used a blowtorch on the rock they spread too then gave them there own isolated spot on the sandbed so they couldnt spread anymore...i think u can just manually remove em if u want.

I had this problem before. I used tweezers to remove them placed it in a small cup with saltwater and sand/live rock rubble and once they attached i sold them as frags. Just be sure to remove every bit because they will grow back if there is a small part of them left. I haven't had any grow back where they once were.

just cut them and send them out as frags...I would take some...

I have this problem as well. I have even gone as far as to inject them with both parts of a 2 part solution causing a block of calcium carbonate to harden INSIDE of them, they were all better next day. I hope there is a better solution.

I'm about to try some lemon juice later...

That does sound like a quick way to remove them, but wouldn't that damage the love rock? I thought of using a propane torch...
