My two new little angels...

My wife and I have been discussing Harlequins for awhile. We finally took the plunge. They are freaking awesome!!!

How are you going to feed your new addition?

A friend of mine has a pair and he keeps them fed by "donated" limbs from stars in another system. He regularly removes limbs from several chocolate chips and sand sifters affectively giving each one enough time to grow back the limb before removing another. The Harlequins don't seem to care if the stars are alive or just "fresh." Sounds kind of harsh, but better than outright feeding them to the shrimp.

He also feeds the little asterinas that are found pretty often in the reef system.

expensive habit, but beautiful skrimpz... when I set up the fourth (or is it the fifth :lol: ) tank, that's what I want in it ;)

His will generally take 10-14 days to eat a whole Chocolate Chip. He discovered early on that they will also be perfectly happy with just an inch at a time...
