look like nassarius snails possibly. they are good for your sand bed

My guess is a Murex snail. They can be kept in a marine aquarium, though they will feed upon sessile inverts! they are predatory!

He's an Apple Murex, and he should probably go...unless you just think he's cool, as I do, and want to buy/catch food species for him. He should eat other molluscs.
