going to b putting a pvc tunnel in my tank for a eel (undecided yet on wat kind) but wshould i use pvc glue or pvc cement, and wat kind of either

PVC glue. Just let it dry all the way and toss it in.

I'd give it at least 48 hours of curing time before putting it into a tank with livestock, but I'm paranoid. Others have used solvented PVC minutes, hours after first solventing the joint and have had no problems.

Could also soak it overnight or longer in a bucket and change the water frequently just to make 100% sure nothing leached out while the glue is curing...the OATEY #30891 "Blue" PVC Rain-n-Shine cement is supposed to be safe for use on pipes that carry water for human consumption...see if the glue has a NSF rating on it...
