acan tried to eat banded pipe

acan tried to eat my pipe. i freed it's tail from the acan ,but the pipe's tail got cooked. looks completely white just in front of the tail fin. pipe seems fine, is there anything i can do to help it out

Once they get burned there is not much you can do. They will try and eat meaty flesh, preferably that which is given to them voluntarily.
