Just getting started with Profilux setup.

I have one digital power bar plugged into S1-S4 and one analog powerbar plugged into S5-S8.

The analog bar seems to just mirror the settings of the digital bar; i.e. the analog bar's sockets switch on and under exactly the same conditions as the digital bar's first 4 sockets.

I read this thread here (http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1364144) but my number does not automatically change, and changing the numbering of the digital bar manually to start at S5 does not help either.

I am using v4.01 firmware and PC software.

Any advice appreciated.

Did you check the Digital Powerbar in the bottom of the socket dialog?

I've tried that (I think).

click on program digital powerbar - set the first port to 5 and the rest change accordingly.

Then, it should be that the analog one starts as S12, but it doesn't seem to.

standard powerbars connected on S5-S8 are always the sockets 5-8 -> can't be changed

program start number of digital powerbar to 9

test the reaction of all sockets using the manual override

So in using both one analog and one digital powerbar, I must only use sockets 5- 14???? I tried this and it does finally work, but it sure is not intuitive or easy to understand:confused:

Wow, this took me hours of searching and fiddling. Grr.
