Cheap kalkwasser product?

I came across this info on a thread I can't remember and would like to hear some opinions fron the chem experts at RC.

Is this any good for kalkwasser?

Kalk is cheap, I would only use Food Grade myself.

Kroger, Wal-Mart have it. Its in a green plastic canister and can be found with the canning stuff. Its Calcium Hydroxide, just like the stuff Kent and Seachem sell you.
