I have been going to your store from Selinsgrove since the eighties and notice several things I am not really pleased with. First alot of your products especially skimmer selection is lacking, second in your catalogs your prices on alot of dry goods are alot higher and with the price of gas I am starting to wonder? Lastly I have 40 yrs of fishkeeping experience and the fish I bought from you were lacking in health as I lost several damsels in my tak that is 200 gallons within a week and they were not bullied by other inhabitants and lastly alot of the Natures image line is overpriced or not available compared to other sources so after all these years will I need to look elsewhere ?even your live fish warrenty is only 5 days compared to others which is a full 14 days!

We try very hard to keep our pricing and product selection as competitive as possible. As far as our retail store is concerned, on the whole, I don't think that you can find a better selection of products or better prices in a store that you can walk into.

In the current economic environment the cost of everything is going up as the cost of shipping continues to increase. Can you be more specific about what prices are a lot higher, or where they are higher.

What is it that you see lacking in our skimmer selection? we carry a wide range skimmers for every level of hobbyist, including premium brands such as ASM and Precision Marine. We cannot sell every brand available.

The Nature's Image product line has been discontinued, that is why our selection is not very good, all we have left is our remaining stock, when that is gone, we will no longer carry the line.

Our livestock that we sell online, is the same as the livestock in our retail store, we offer the same guarantee to both our mailorder and retail customers. The 14 day guarantee that you are referring to is offered by our mailorder only competitors. You will be hard pressed to find many retail stores that offer a 5 day guarantee on their livestock, many offer no guarantee on marine livestock or invertebrates at all.

If you purchased damsels in our store and they died within a week they should be covered by our guarantee, all you have to do is give us a call if you can not make it back to the store within 5 days.

okay Dave I appreciate your input who do I speak to about replacement damsels if I no longer have the reciept and as far as skimmers are concerned look at Octopus and Ets skimmers more people seem to use and buy them and the octopuses are lower priced and better constructed then the ASM brand good bang for the dollar once but not anymore. Just recieved Pet Solutions catalog in the mail today and Filter media like polyfilter and Purigen and both chemipures are appreciably lower priced, just my two cents I sure would like to continue to have a good relationship with you as you are in PA and I have been a Long time customer when you only just carried FISH !Thanks, look forward to hearing from you on the issues.
