Hi, just wanting to know whether anyone is using or had used one of these lighting system?

What do you think of it?

It's OK for what it is. It gives a decent amount of light for a 2.5g, maybe a 5.5g, but there are better options. It gets quite hot (barely touchable after it's been on for a while) though I never saw much change in my water temp. The spectrum of the bulbs seems to drift fairly quickly as well.

It works ok on my 5.5. I would recommend it if you didn't want to build something.

I had two on my ten gallon and sold them. Now I have to buy one for my QT and maybe one for my fuge. If you drill small holes from the top it might dissipate heat.

i had used one for years on my 2.5 pico. It worked well, however the plastic on both ends cracked after 2 years use. It still continued to function, however looked kinda ugly. I passed it on to someone else and it is still working for them to this day. The bulb choices are also extremely limited.

Nanotuners has a tiny little fan that may be modded into one.

I double checked and the fan would be too big for this light.
