What are the pros/cons to cured or uncured live rock? My wife is getting a new nano tank that we will be filling with water from our existing reef tank but I was wondering if the live rock we put in it should be cured or uncured? Seems like there's a lot of life on/in the uncured rock.

You can get what ever rock you want. Uncured LR will just take longer to cycle in the tank.

Also another difference is the price.

Uncured will take longer, although it usually has more hitchhikers.

A lot more life on uncrued but a lot will die off when you cure it in your tank, if you have an established tank you really need cured rock, because the die off could cause spikes in your levels. If its a new tank then you will be cycling anyway. Cured rock can reduce cycle time as well.
