Light suggestions

My VHO's are toast or the ballast..but either way....

I have 2 250w MH lights.....(that DO work)

Any suggestions on a combo? I did have 4 VHOs firing but wondering what other combos other people had...

ive got 4 vhos and adding 2 mh's...what size are your vhos?

My favorite combo is the MH with t-5 for the supplemental lighting.

What kind of vho ballast do you have thats broken?

Ballast is an ARO (not a good one I know but it came with the lights)

Lights are 46.5

why do people think the aro ballast are bad? i have one and never had a problem with it...what are the down sides to them and up sides?

Can I replace the ballast?

AROs have been referred to me as bad on more than one occasion but no specific reason stands out. I think its just in comparison to other ballasts out there.

Nikon I have an Icecap Ballast and some VHO's I will make ya a deal on, they are extras I have and don't need. Send me a PM if your interested.

i have a mh & pc combo, works good, but i have no need for the mh. i am moving toward fowlr

I PMed Greg. I got the ballast working again. Apparently connections had been pulled apart.
