I know they are difficult as they are a bit shy, tough to acclimate, and can be jumpers. I found a healthy specimen at an LFS that was eating, and I recently constructed a screen top to prevent jumping, so I'm figuring I have the right environment. He has gone into hiding for the last couple of days and hasn't come out to eat. Is this normal? I'm hoping since he was eating in the store, he'll eventually come out, at least at feeding time. Any tips from those with tilefish experience?
