Sorry for the poor pic. This thing appears to be nocturnal only and its hard to get a good shot when the tank lights are out. Its the tan thing under the frag plug w/putty in the pic. It has alternating grey and lavendar ovals on its "head". I couldn't see the entire creature but it appeared to be wormlike as the rest of it was in a hole in the rock.
Anyone got a clue?
Thanks

It's probably a chiton. Harmless and beneficial.

+2 for chiton.
I wasn't able to find a whole lot, but if you go here
Snail ID Questions (http://www.wetwebmedia.com/snailidfaq3.htm) and scroll down near the bottom, a fellow reefer found one that looks very similar to yours. It was in excess of 6" long, and not doing any damage to his tank.
Grats on the cool hitchhiker! :)

Yep, it's a chiton, Cryptoplax larvaeformis. It shouldn't be a problem in your tank.
Cheers,
Don
