My nephew went fishing today and brought back 2 small pompano in a live well for my reef tank. I am wondering are pompano reef safe?

Seeing as how they are between 11-20 inches in order for you to keep them...I suspect they may be too big for your tank. Right?
Eat them they are great, catch them all the time this time of year and when the water gets cooler here in Central Fla.

I have no idea but i can think of many fish that would look better in a tank than the pics i seen of the florida pompano

These are juveniles and are only about 3" long. I know they will get too big but I plan to put them back in the Ocean when they outgrow the tank. I was just wondering if they are going to eat my corals or attach other fish in the tank?
