RK2 Channel won't shut off

My halide is on channel 8. Came downstairs this morning to find my halide stayed on all night. My RK2 shows the channel is off, and the blue led chennel light was off to. I turned the channel to off, plugged in the halide and it fired up again. So the channel won't respond to the commands.
