Unfortunately, I have to sell off my reef aquarium. I have quite a few fairly rare corals that will have to be sold, so that raises some shipping questions.

Where can I find some thin sheet styrofoam that can be trimmed to line the boxes I ship in? Is this necessary if I have a fair amount of insulation in the box surrounding the coral bags?

If I do a good job of lining the boxes and have insulation (newspaper, Etc.) surrounding the coral bags in the package, do you think I will need cold packs this time of the year? If so, where do you get these?

I really want to preserve these corals, any help would be appreciated.

What you mentioned can be found at Home Depot or Lowes in the insulation section. Unfortunately it is not that effective. Check Uline.com for better options.

I ship with that insulation all the time and it works great.

I also use bubble wrap and newspaper in the bottom to suck up the water.
