DA, just want to get your thoughts on these issues..

My PH probe alarm randomly goes off and says the PH is 0.00
Also all the data points on the main screen randomly say disconnected (or something like that) it flashes that for 2 sec then goes back to normal.

Things I have tried.
swapped data cables...
put the SL1 first inline after the head unit..

Thanks in advance@!

Dan

I'll snap a pic of the screen if it will help.

NO thoughts ? Is this happening to anyone else?
does the reset affect cal as well should I try that? no more ORP solution though....:(

Hi Dan,

The Head Unit will occasionally display "detached" on a probe, this is normal. The alarm going off is interesting. How do you currently have it set up?

Also, it shouldn't matter in which order you have the units attached to eachother. You can also unplug a SL1 from the system and it will retain all of it's calibration data. You wont need to recalibrate.

basically I have it setup to go off when the ph drops below 7.5 I did this as a test because i had it set to 8.1 and my tank was at 8.3 and I thought maybe there was fluctuation.. (i have two other PH probes in my tank)

It goes to 0.00 and stays until i hit back back.

what I meant by reset is reset to default..... will that clear the cal data?

No, resetting the head unit to defaults will not erase cal data. The alarm appears and the value that tripped it stay on the screen until you touch the BACK key. It's not that the value is still zero, it's just reporting what value made the alarm go off. If it continues to be an issue for you, please feel free to e-mail us at support@digitalaquatics.com.

I left a voicemail message describing the problem.

I do need to get this resolved as it is non-functional at this point.

Have you seen this at all ? could it be the probe? I do have two more to to try tonight...

I caught it this time playing with the micro switches...

It said detached and when it came back went into alarm.... 0.00 ph

I'll look into the detached possibly reporting back a zero value. Thanks for the input.

Thanks.. I understand the holiday will slow things... thats ok...
But please understand at this point the system is COMPLETLY unusable.
At this point all it can do is be a monitor ph, temp, and orp.
