There is an error in the PC4 manual... The timeout when you enter manual mode was NOT implemented in the current version of firmware as stated in the manual. If you enter manual mode you will need to MANUALLY exit manual mode by touching a button for 2 seconds.

We're sorry for the confusion this may cause some of you. This will be implemented in the next version of firmware for the PC4.

Also it does say that the port stays in its currents state when switching back to auto mode... This is not the case. mine keep turning back off... it would be great to fix this in the new firmware though...

That's a bit different situation... It will stay in the state unless told by the head unit to turn off/on. So what that means, if you don't have a program for that channel or the PC4 is not on the bus (stand alone,) you can come out of manual and it will hold the last setting.

In that case, coming out of manual is like locking the key pad out when the PC4 is not on the bus.

We do plan on updating the PC4 so we'll look at this a bit more in the future.

Yes that is a needed update...

For example this would be perfert for overriding things and letting them go back to normal on there own... right now a 10 dollar timer kicks the rke's butt in that dept :eek1:
